Film Fest Gent (FFG) celebrates its anniversary in 2023 and Howest is working on it! The 50th anniversary of the festival in October is accompanied by a new corporate identity (and a remnant of promotional material in the previous style). Instead of throwing everything away, mechandisis is developed from it. Ninety students from the Howest Industrieel ProductOntwerpen programme made various prototypes in collaboration with the Ghent design label Volmaakt . In the end, four actually go into production: a bag, cover, flower pot and notebook. Every object looks different given its recycled nature. The objects are sold at Volmaakt (Speldenstraat 1, Ghent) and during Film Fest Gent - 10 > 21 oktober 2023 (Pop up, Ter Platen 12, Ghent). More info: https://lnkd.in/eFwmCusg
