AIM3D develops printers based on its proprietary CEM technology (Composite Extrusion Modeling).

ExAM 255: 255 x 255 x 255 mm
Their first serial machine, designed for small series and prototyping with their pellet-based approach.

A larger successor with a bigger build volume, aimed at heavy-duty and industrial applications.

AIM3D also introduced its patented Voxelfill method: a software for slicing
Which fills printed components with a "brick bond" structure to enhance strength and resistance to fractures.
Especially addressing weaknesses in the Z-axis.
A combination of 2 materials is possible, filling the voxels with to obtain an isotropic 3D model, reducing anisotropy.
For printers with high flow e.g. with Bambulab, combination of injection and extrusion
Their technology also extends to metal and ceramic 3D printing, where the polymer binder is removed (debinding) and the part is subsequently sintered.
