Our team of four: Axel Dupon, Lars Vloemans, Tom Thysens and myself, designed and built an RC monster truck for CAD/CAP entirely from scratch. Every component, including the suspension, steering, roll cage, shell, and wheels, was engineered using techniques such as waterjet cutting, CNC milling, thermoforming, and 3D printing. The truck features a quad spring suspension, a steering rack produced via waterjet cutting, and a shell mold milled on the school’s CNC machine. The design was inspired by The King of Cars.
