The Industrial Design Center (IDC) is the open knowledge center of Howest University of Applied Sciences and Ghent University where industry, research and education meet, make and co-create.
IDC represents 25 years of experience in product design, innovation and creativity. Our expertise ranges throughout the design process. We are your partner from the fuzzy front-end to setting up a pilot run, from short term professional services to long term multidisciplinary research projects.
IDC wants to trigger cooperation, spark innovation and provoke solutions. Together we can create meaningful products and services with added value!
The industrial design center is the place for design RESEARCH. Individuals and companies can come to us for design SERVICES and you can make use of our workshops by registering for the MINI-FACTORY.
