SŌKON

Katana stand reimagined for modern times

baert_obe_eindwerk.jpg

Sokon is a katana stand designed to present the sword as a crowning centerpiece rather than a weapon. Clear acrylic supports hold each blade at both ends, displaying it as a work of art. Created for museums and collectors of heritage swords, Sokon is designed to showcase a katana and wakizashi together as a traditional pair. Its distinctive crescent-shaped body is crafted from two aluminium halves that are welded, polished, and finished with a matte black powder coating.
