PAUSE ESPRESSO

Manual espresso machine as an interior piece

baert_obe_eindwerk.jpg

A reimagined form of the espresso machine designed for the living room, pause brings the espresso experience out of the kitchen and into the core of the house. Interaction with the ring turns coffee extraction into a slow, physical ritual. By removing the electric pump, users can hear the beautiful sound of coffee dripping. With high-quality coffee, pause sits in the living room as furniture.
