The IMPALA project is an EU funded project with the aim to develop an algorithm enhanced monitoring system for hospitalized children in Africa. Our goal is to improve recognition of critical conditions in an early stage which enables early and effective interventions and fight shortage of health workers. Only one doctor can give instructions to different hospitals from a distance which reduces pediatric mortality.
